Sheath Pressure Tester

The Scopeguard Cystoscope Sheath has been designed and manufactured to provide the cystoscope with an effective barrier to contamination during use.
Each Scopeguard Cystoscope Sheath is manufactured from extremely tough materials and is thoroughly tested in manufacture to ensure it will act as an effective microbiological barrier, but there still remains a small risk that the barrier could unknowingly be compromised while in use.
To qualify that the sheath has not been damaged, simply connect the Scopegurd Sheath Pressure Tester to the used sheath and pressurise using the pump. If the sheath maintains the indicated pressure on the pump gauge, the user is confident that an effective barrier between the endoscope and the patient has been maintained throughout the procedure.
